why do salmon and sea trout not got enough protection at Riverside Drive than they do further up the system???
i see plenty sea trout on another forum caught by "sea" anglers and im sure theres plenty salmon stuffed in there motors and doon there troosers!!
i hink its a joke when the "game" angler pay oot there back end just to catch a salmon and a sea troot and aw these "sea" anglers has to say is im fishin for "cod" or wit ever it is they fish for doon there, but we aw know wit there fishin for!!

yer right i read that thread the other day.
but would'nt you have a problem booking a day on the tay say £60 for about 7 or 8 hours fishing, fishing for salmon and sea trout, when you could be down there fishing for the same fish for free!!

I think your blowing things a bit out of proportion Steve, sure the guys down there catch an odd sea-trout but very rarely hook a salmon let alone land one. If their car boots are full of salmon then it must be from Tesco across the road.

THEY ARE CATCHING SEA TROUT JUST NOW...........SEEN PICS IN THE SHOP HERE ON MONDAY...CAUGHT ON SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't looked at the posts on the other forum but most of the pictures I've seen over the years of fish caught at riverside have been of sea-trout kelts so a bit of education wouldn't go a miss down there. I think most guys down there just catch the odd flounder or tampon

I had a few tries at the educational approach on WSF. Some people either will not or cannot listen. A couple of short educational visits from a bailiff would do the world of good but I would imagine they have more important things to do than annoy a few sea anglers.

Any one got a link to the pictures/info on this riverside drive. Never heard of this before. kf Its the Tay Estuary at Dundee Riverside Drive is the road name Kinda thought it would be a road next to the Tay, just didn't think it was Dundee, Perth perhaps. Need a Shooting Head for down there!! ;D

I could join but its not worth the hassle. kenny sign up its worth seein all the sea trout that get slaughterd down there, every single day of the week, read the first one asking if the permit says that they can keep salmon, apparently they can!! also they say it doesnt say anythin about keeping sea trout!! is this no a joke?
