Aye seaguar & varivas are my favourites, also use rio fluoroflex & xps from bass-pro. Have not used maxima in almost 20 years.

I use fluorocarbon for trout fishing and either Seaguar, Maxima or Hybrid for salmon. So I haven't voted for any one of the options.
Haven't had a problem with any of them except one of the FC brands I tried using for trout where I had several problems with breakages.

If you make your own tapered leaders then this stuff is excellent as it comes in various sizes from 50lb - 4lb. Like Macd, I use a 10lb, 12lb, & 15lb a lot

I use Seaguar & Berkley Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon which is a lot cheaper about £6 for 110 yds and always fish a dropper threw the summer right till the back end and have never had a failure. The only problems I have had is when the trailing fly has snagged up but that would happen with any leader.

Maxima 99% of the time. It's reliable and inexpensive. Works great for the fishing I do.

Copolymer first. Maxima sometimes. Had a dabble with flouro, didn't like it. Having said that I used seagar last year with no problems.

Maxima is fine , I've dabbled into the world of flourocarbon and although I have not had any bad experiences with it yet , actually just hearing other bad reports about flourocarbon from other people makes me stay loyal to my trusted maxima

As I said before I've had bad experiences with flourocarbon in the past so I use Maxima for all the fishing I mainly do.
Only one problem though, I went looking for Maxima last spring to use on tubes and found that they don’t do it over 18lb…Maybe it was the shop being picky and not being bothered to stock it but they told me that was the top BS in the Maxima range..
So for using tubes in the spring where you need a BS of 20lb + what is the prefered Nylon of choice.
