Just got my hands on the new Mick McDaid spey lines from Guideline today, 10/11 50ft head and 10/11 60ft head, Both these lines throw the tightest loops i've ever seen The 50ft head is easy to cast and would be great for anyone starting to learn to spey cast and also if you don't have room behind for a big 'D' loop casts of 35yds plus were a doddle on both the 14' LPXE and the 15' Lpxe, The 60' head with a total lenghth of 43yds wasnay long enough

AWSOME In what way are they better than the Carron or other quality lines Tony? IMHO the effortless way they slide off the water and the ease in which they fly through the air as if they were trying to get away from you As i said above they throw the tightest loops i've ever seen. They are pre-looped both ends And they turn over even the fastest poly tips with ease, with the Carron i always cut a bit of the front taper off to help turn tips. Oh and they have a tag which says this end to reel for the fishers that are undecided which way round the line goes on the reel

Have you used the multi-tip version UG ? Hi mk, I tried the multi-tip at the Tweed fair in May, multi-tips are not my cup of tea but this one was nice to cast and turned a type 5 tip without any effort.
