Yip poly's for me, i like the rio versi tips never used them are they a bit more substantial than the airflos The turn over is better and you can get them in 15' 10' and 6' or is it 7' canny mind. I use the 10' and 15' ones most of the time.

Oh and they have a tag which says this end to reel for the fishers that are undecided which way round the line goes on the reel [/quote Oh that will be handy to some, even ghillies will benefit from that ground breaking addition

Darned interesting to see the number of new lines for 2-handers that have popped up over the last year or two. Who would have guessed there were that many ways to 'reinvent the wheel.'

Indeed. Interesting to go to a major (US based) 'E-tailer' such as flyfishusa web Mark does a very healthy business in the UK) site and click on the section for Spey lines. He carries so many kinds that it has its own seperate section. Add to that, all the lines he doesn't carry and no wonder there's so much confusion as to what line works with what rod.
Other are doing this now, but I think Simon G or RIO lines was the first to actually do an entire section of rod/line recommended match ups. Of course, only the RIO lines are covered, but it's still pages and pages long.
