hi guys, there have been a number of early sea trout reported so far this year. is this normal or do you think it is an early sign of another strong sea trout run like last years?

i think sea trout tag alone with the salmon pods comming in. there is always a few fresh sea trout around at this time of year. i usually find alot of them are finnock sized. the sea trout seem to be on the way up on the tay again going by the last 2 seasons. the feeding in estuary and around the coast canny be to bad.

There seems to be a healthy head of sea-trout in the estuary anyway although at this time of year the fish they catch down there tend to be a bit better than avg. with the smaller finnock getting caught as the season goes on.
