Came up with this one a couple years back. Made a few more tonight with black coneheads. Certain persons have found them to work very well on the Creed where the water can be very peaty. Tube ~ 3/4" copper Tail ~ Red and yellow fluorescent wool Rear body ~ Silver holographic Front body ~ black dubbing Rib ~ Silver Front body hackle ~ Red Underwing ~ Scarlet AF Overwing ~ Black AF Front hackle ~ Scarlet hen Flash to suit between and over wings Cone ~ Veniard black medium BnC

Aye their crackin ayrshire looking patterns.
has the second one down got a gold holographic rear body, or is it just the light reflecting on the silver
Gold holo would be my first choice for my local waters, or maybe a well picked out gold lite brite body.

I thought the original flies you tied looked good, and the fish agreed. I reckon the conehead Clan Chief will be a killer (oops.......I mean catcher).
