Plenty Kelts about, first fish of the season came from Upper North Wark who also got one in the afternoon, but I see only 4 reported today so far, not sure how many were liced fish yesterday or fish that had been in the system for a few weeks, seen nowt down at Coldstream yet, but with the river temp so low don't expect them to stick their noses out. Early days!!!

Think there will have to be a vote among the rods to see where you are going, mind you I've heard the Ghillies placement of rods can be swayed by a good malt only a rumour of course!

Aye the catches will likely go up a bit for next couple of days as all the beats get a toby or something flashy pulled through them, we'll find out what's there anyway. Bit of snow on the way it looks like better than rain I suppose.

200 for the day now. Amazing catches on some beats - up to 30 fish!
Do you reckon last night's full moon had anything to do with it, given that the Tweed did not seem to have any major changes in its levels?
