Hi
I bought the Rio AFS kit last month in 8/9 weight and tried it for the first time at Newtyle yesterday. The 12' rod wont lift the line at all so after 30 minutes perseverance it was taken of and i used my other rod. I've tired a Vision head cut back and it works perfectly on it so the Rio head is for sale and after 30 minutes use is as new.
£30 posted for the 8loating head or i would consider a Swap for a 9/10 head to fit my other rod
Steve

Scanny I bought the 8/9 AFS in hover and floating for use on my 12ft 6in rod and found them a bit much for the wee rod but I cut .5m off the back and they are perfect on it now.

Stevie gac are selling powertapers £20,you could get 10/11 cut back to 34g as 1st line can bring digi scales to tying save money or get hover inty,or as i have done cut backfloat/s1 10/11 and a ddc tips back to 34 g for wee rod Or even better madkeen has saved you a fortune put the afs on the cacales and make the decision, cut or sell
