Well as the title says, what is your perfect fly water and why? Name the river and beat etc
A picture would be good to show everyone if that is possible.

This is not a great photo of the pool but it's difficult to get a good one with all the trees at your back. All my photos of this pool are taken at first light which doesn't help. The pool is the Concrete Pool on the Westwater and it's one place I can almost guarantee hooking a fish if conditions are half decent. Ten foot single hander, floating line with a 5ft slow sinking tip, size 11 (double) Calvins Shrimp - can't go wrong.

Three for the price of one. The Cables , the Pipe and the Glebe. First 2 are best fished from the right bank , but the Glebe's a cracking run through from the left bank. Hard to believe that this bit of water's smack bang in the middle of a very deprived , urban area.

Now I know why you are a tidy Spey caster. Lovely looking bit of water.
Is it deep near either bank?

Is it deep near either bank? Yes. And the Glebe's a wee bitty rough underfoot. ;D
