River was out of order yesterday but is dropping today and if it continues then it should be in good nick for Tuesday. The beat hut is on the left hand side of the A9 about a 1 mile after you cross the new bridge.

Cheers for that, hopefully the camera will be required, the new water is just what has been required.

Be careful - the turn off is on a 2-way stretch and is not apparent until you are almost at it. If in doubt just drive past it and double back at the next safe convenient place. Good luck.

Agree with the being careful bit it can be passed before you know it. But If I re-call there is a lay by just South of the Entrance and once passed this lay by start looking for the gate. Problem with passing by and turning is that, (unless you drive well past in order to turn around to re approach), you will have oncoming traffic as well as those behind you. As Synapse says take it easy and you should be ok. Good luck with the fishing and remember to take the Camera

The last time i was up i had a look and the hut is a few hundred yards along the A9 after you cross the Tay. Just slow after the bridge and then take the left turning. it looks like a nice bit of water, i was reading about it just last week in an issue of T&S from the summer.
I read that they are running buy one get one free on fishpal for January and February so it is a good time to get to know a new beat.
Ill read with interest what you thought of it
