I will shortly be looking for waders again, and although I have had good service from my wychwood ones, was wondering what else was out there that is (as) cheap and reliable etc. I believe that Rapala do an el cheapo waders and wondered if anyone had any experience/views of these or ANO. Before anyone says you get what you pay for, not with waders you don't. Well some times perhaps KF

Grey's GRX are a good sturdy pair of waders, i know of a place doing a sale on them too.

Greys GRX have given good service, and at a reasonable price, I would definitely consider again when it comes to replacing.

Interesting, and what I wanted to hear. I have yet to try my re-glued foot joins but I like the look of those Rap waders and there not expensive, even If I only get 2-3 years out of them. kf

Rapala Aqualex stocking foot. I have had them one season, so far no probs. I can only recomend them. But if you can get by with a wee repair job, that's the way to go. Get your monies worth a year is not enough. By the way they do the Rapala's in XXL's ;D

By the way they do the Rapala's in XXL's ;D Going off you quickly Graham ;D I can still get into a XL yet by a mile and its only the size of my feer that I need to buy a XL at that, smart erse Funny you should say you like the Rapala waders! recently I nipped into a tackle dealers who stock them and I met a guy in there who said that I should not touch them with a barge pole as they have had many returned etc. Pity that as they looked good for the money. I will give my glue saturated waders one more outing to redeem them selves for all the cash spent on glue. In fact I can hardly bent with them now!!! kf
