With the season starting shortly and chilly temperatures i experimented with a few spring flies. With next months newtyle visits in mind pink was the colour of the day, along with shades of violet for the first time. Also it was my first attempt at templedog style flies. There are a few tying errors with the dog's, i havens any shalapen as yet so i used black saddle hackles on the front instead, and the wings could do with being a little tidy'er. All the fur was from Foxy's latest offer Do the colour combinations work and are there any other mistakes. I havent tied many shrimps up on treble's, the now holes ion my fingers reminded me why. Thanks Hopefully Martins salmon like them if the usual spring tubes don't prove successful
