I am about to replace my airflo polyleaders. Are there any other makes / systems of poly leaders I should be considering? Has anyone seen any good deals on the airflo leaders?
Thanks in advance Fenton

Fenton
Only other brand I know of are those by Michael Evans.
As a matter of interest, what is causing you to replace them?
I was not aware they could wear out etc

I have had the leaders for a couple of years. One or two of the leaders need replacing as they have been lost (or lent out and not returned!). In addition I snapped the fast sink last season on a snag! (using 18lb maxima as the leader). This made me think that the leaders might become weaker with time, and probably wanted replacing every few years?
Cheers Fenton

Hi fenton, my choice of polyleaders are those by Michael Evans or the Rio Versileaders, never had any problems with any breakages with either of these brands. The Evens ones come in 5' or 10' & the Rio ones 7' 10' & 15'.
