What flies have been doing well on the Tweed in the early part of the season
I am trying out Upper Floors this year having fished Makerstoun for the past 2 seasons in early February. Both times, there were fish about but nae luck.
Apprciate GBWG, Garry's, standard Willie Gunn's, Black and Yellow and Black and Orange are all good proven flies.
If there is anything else I should be carrying to help maximise chances of a Spring fish, can members please advise?
Any thoughts/pointers very much appreciated as always
