My personal opinion is that is is a good idea and what i would expect when booking fishing. Agree completely. It seems to be more or less standard practice if a party books a whole beat for a week, so why not extend it to day rods too? I'm sure you can canvass opinion from your rods at the time as to whether they would be interested in revisiting. Inevitably there will be some who won't - for example visitors from abroad who know that it's a one-off visit - but with the wonders of modern technology (i.e. email) it shouldn't cost anything more than a little bit of time to do this. I think from the rod's point of view it is good PR, as it suggests that the beat would like to have them back, and presumably it you can get bookings direct rather than through Fishpal there is a saving on fees.

I think its a good idea Martin. Makes the guests think they are valued and that your offering them first refusal on their day/days, its something that should be done imo when you book via Fishpal but isnt and you often dont get the same day if anything at all.
