Do the panel have any thoughts on which beats in Scotland are the most profitable? Purely on income generated from salmon fishing and associated accomodation.

Tweed. Tillmouth & The Junction would be high on the list.

I agree that Tweed is almost certainly the most expensive fishing in Scotland - certainly on a per fish basis; however Tillmouth is largely syndicated so won't, strictly speaking, generate income for its owners. I think the two Floors beats must be in contention because they are the only significant Tweed beats I know of that have a requirement to take accommodation along with the fishing - and the hotel isn't exactly cheap!

the Park Estate on the Dee must be up there nowadays
It has a very long season also.

I had forgot about Floors. I remember getting an invite to fish Upper Floors. Later in the day back at the hotel I ordered a round of drinks and some sandwiches. I thought they had made a mistake when I got the bill. I was sure it was a bill for a nights stay....... Tweed. Tillmouth & The Junction would be high on the list.
