Ross. The sprite hooks are great. very solid hooks, and good and strong. I prefer the standard ones over the low water, but both are good. I can get them in bulk

I am pretyy sure that othr pro tyers use Sprite Hooks for a lot of their flies as they are considered very reliable etc
Peter O'Reilly from Ireland used to use them as far as I can recollect for Salmon Doubles

Ross...I tried sprite salmon hooks a few years ago....they were quite cheap and I could get them from Veniards...had to send them all back, they were all pretty blunt! compared to the partridge hooks I was using at the time I was not impressed at all... Maybe the quality has improved in the last few years.....let me know what like if you try some?

Ive used the singles myself and found them very good.
Lightweight and strong. Not as sharp as others but then again i dont like a needle point on my hook.
I friend of mine has used the doubles as well for years and has had no problems with them.. He prefers them over the salars etc
