Looking for a #10/11 multip line, +- medium belly.
Tried the Montheith (great line, but two loop to loop connections, not for me), old Rio mid-Spey, Bill Drury Guideline ( I have a 8/9, the floating and hoover tips are very splashy on my hands, and only comes with an additional 2ips tip ). Also tried once a Rio Grande with a 100ft head!
Any recomendations? What about the DTX line?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Bad caster
A loop to loop connection between the main line and the tip is always a little bit on the bulky side and when playing a fish its passage through the top ring can be a hair raising experience: once, playing a nice fish, the connection was blocked for a few seconds in the top ring as the fish was taking line. So, for me, using a line with two of those connections is completely out of question.

A friend of mine is interested in selling a Rio mid-spey #8/9, multi tip; make an offer...

Geordieed Trying to understand what you write as I am sure it is a concern for many. I have fished with a Rio Mid Spey and a Windcuutter as well which both use a Loop to Loop connection and 15ft tips. With the Rio lines, I cannot ever recollect the loops sticking in the top ring when either shooting line or playing a fish (not many and no large ones either!) When you had that nice fish one and the line got stuck, were you holding you rod held high - say 60 degrees or more - or was it lower? Reason I ask is I will be/am re-equpping and looking over all the various connections before next season starts tweedbunnet

The rod was held at an angle of 60ยบ or higher. After the line got stuck I just froze for some five seconds, and after, by instinct, dropped and simultaneously slightly twisted horizontally the rod. I believe that was what saved the day (better, the rod), although perhaps was just chance. Unfortunately I lost that fish half a minute later.
