Here's what I have been working on this week All the flies have 1" bodies. The Left Hand Column from top to bottom comprises: Posh Tosh, Junction Shrimp, Gold Bodied Willie Gunn Conehead, Longtail Finn Gold and the Dee Fox Middle Row comprises: Temple Shrimp, Hakan's Fly (2) and Park Shrimp (3) Have discovered I am not so clever with Coneheads and need to practice a bit more. I cannot remember where I came across Hakan's Fly but I had wanted to tie it for quite a while as it looks as if it could be the answer in high dirty water. The hair is a mix of Yellow Goat and then Chartreuse Nayat on top. Here is a close up of it Hope you like them tb

Braw flees just what I like, I often get the cone wrong, stick a hackle in last it hides/fills the gap, not that I'm any sort of expert fly tier, they'll catch fish just fine.

If the tyer wants to tidy up the heads behind the cones I would suggest tying in some marabou, or even schlappen. Using black over any of these colours really sets the fly off, of course in my opinion, and like you say the fish don't complain.
