The rain arrived, 3' on the gauge this morning and a bit of colour. It's dropped to 2'3 and the waters spot on, but no fish showing or caught, frustrating.

Feck, a long few days. Ended up fishing the beat yesterday morning, well I got up at 1pm then we headed over to canterlands then morphie dyke on the northie.
Eating a pizza at Montrose at 12.30am with 2 hours to drive back, it didn't seem like the best plan.
Cracking few days, superb
North Esk in the morning, it will be massive so I'll not hold out much hope for that

I give up, back to fluff. 1000 miles driving in a week, 5 beats- 3 of which were prime on their rivers. How many fish? Nowt, zilch, nada, nill. They didn't want to play, the water sent them in a huff...worse than women and cost more. I didn't even get a hangover for my cause either! The golf bats are coming out, at least it doesn't rain 24/7 in Troon and the pin won't get pmt.
