Stinchar Flamethrower

Its still the same today, any rise in water level tends to be quite peaty. In my eyes pink appears orange in peaty water hence the Stinchar FT. The same as the Tay FT except blue replaced with pink, cheers Dave.

Hook: Salmo or salar
Tag: Silver holo
Rear hackle: yellow cock
Rear wing: yellow bucktail with pink over/flash to taste
Body: dubbed pink litebrite
Front hackles: Orange then pink cock
Cheeks: JC
Head: pearl tinsel



This is going to get well tested this year on Knockdolian.

Braw B can you get a turrel knot on they hooks?

I don't use that knot, although I should. The eyes are much rounder that the salar's. What kind of eye do you want for the turrel?

My version is the Scroaggie shrimp it's not in the flamin variations thread, I called it that because it took 2 fish from scroaggie hole the season before last Mine uses a blend of light and dark pink over the usual wing, so yours is ever so slightly different, so the name is fine ;D ;D ;D

Anyway.. Brian managed a 12lb springer from Knockdolian on the Stinchar using the Stolen...........ahem.......... stincher flamethrower on thursday of last week..
