The Lochy Shrimp emerged from a conversation I had with River Lochy Manager, John Veitch. John and I discussed what a 'Lochy fly' might look like and after agreeing on blue, yellow, silver and black, this is what I came up with. Ideal for clear water and bright summer days. tag: oval silver tail: black runner (short), pearl angel hair, yellow runner body: holo silver lite brite (or flat holo silver for a slimmer profile), silver rib. hackle: blue badger wing: JC tied in a 'V' head: red thread, clear varnish

Very nice, what sizes would you say you could go down to Ross? I'm thinking 15s for those grilse and sea trout.
Should do well that one, I'll be tying some up for my destinations this summer.
