I was fishing at maulslie last friday for the graylin not 1 single fish for about 3 hours worth of fishing water was still a bit high and had a bit of colour in it should have went to abington instead. got a few day of over christmas and new year so will defo be back out. on the plus side i did see a lot of salmon moving about up stream of the bridge bit of luck they will be left alone to to spawn

Has anyone had a shot at the Grayling yet? ill be off for a couple of weeks over the Christmas , going to give Mid Clyde a try then . I might join you, I have just discovered a massive and mature dung heap, so there should be plenty brandlings in it. - reckon its getting on for 100ton

Excellent ill nip home and pick up the course rods tomorrow Anywere local to pick up bait en route or best stocking up the night before. I can just see the good lady's face with a tub of maggots in the fridge
