I know a clyde angler who has fished these for a couple of years and he dose well on them He does better than well on them, he rarely blanks on his Collie Dog. The latest one is just as good too The secret seems to be the mass of the epoxy, your getting depth and a lot of movement during the pause between strips.

I think they are a good idea.
A salmon would expect to see eyes on what a Sunray/Collie represents so I am all for putting them on.
And if the epoxy adds a bit of weight, all to the good.

pssssst Scanny bit more than eyes and epoxy mind place eyes right cause if they see a fish they swim away wait till you put the eyes on wrong leave it looking in the fire with one and up the chimney with the other wee blob of poxy at back of wing root helps keep wing up and stops tangling round the hook mate says they are crap and wished he never tied them never catches a thing on them honest
