I have decided have a go at tying a few flee's,keep me busy during the long winter nights.
I have had a look on ebay and seen some kits,but i dont know anything about whats good whats not ETC
I am starting from scratch.
Any advice would appreicated.

I don't know if they are good or not but McHardies offer starter kits that focus on tying certain flies so you get the materials you need for f.i. pot bellied pigs or tube flies and not a whole host of things you might not ever use. I'd go for something like that, I'm sure other stores can make up kits like that as well if you'll let them know what you'd like to tie. Be careful though, it's addictive and before you know it you'll be swimming in materials

It all looks a bit cheap to be honest.RG saga on the materials It's a start though. I am not sure ware to start! i tip my hat at all you guy's it's more clear to me now,the level of detail and knoledge/skill needed to make some of the flies, i just buy and dont think much about how it was made. Been watching some vids on youtube,they make it look easy to an extent. But am strugling to see whare to start??
