Lots here on the Eden too. Myself and Mr Procter were catching plenty today!

yeah theres some real biggies!!!!!! Thats why me and Mr Procter fish there! My biggest wildy from the river is 5lb 2oz. We are the upper reaches of the river. Fish are not stocked so it isn't easy to catch. But when you catch one, the are the definition of perfection. Here is one of many..........

Its a cracking specimen and beautiful proportions. My biggest from a river (Tay) is 2.75lbs yellow belly and fought like a tiger in that big flow.
Mind you that was some years ago now.

Well if you ever want a day on the river let me know. I can arrange something for you and pull some strings. Being a committee member has its advantages............... That sure was a nice fish in the photo.
Never caught a Brown with those type of spots. Mine have always tended to be much darker fish.
I did see one very similar of about 5lbs in a mixed Rainbow/Brown fishery. Beautiful looking fish as well.
