Rattled up another few variation tonight. first ones are simple red over orange and orange over red, both with copper lite brite bodies These ones are a new variation. cobalt blue with Ruby claret over. the body in these is a blend of ruby claret seals fur and UV pearl lite brite I reckon this one could be a real killer when the usual colors/patterns have been flogged to death, or on a clearing river. Any comments welcome on the blue variant. Dave.

Nice Dave, like the Tay Flamethrower BnC To be honest I rarely fish with flies other than those I'd tied myself but when I saw that Tay FT's you'd left me Dave I knew I'd have to make an exception. I used it on Castle Grant on Thursday last week and it took my first spey salmon. Full report tomorrow but just wanted to thank Dave for the fly; a firm favourite from now on! Brian
