Have got a few dodgy skins recently, the feathers are just not of the quality I expect to be using on my shrimp flies.
Anyone know who has top quality dyed skins in right now?
thankyou

Unfortunately the answer is you dont!
Was at yet another game fair yesterday where the quality of GP Skins was quite frankly awful.
I've bought 3 natural and 2 dyed in the last 18 months and looked through countless others to get them.
Even the major retailers arent getting consistent quality stock.

Veniards do very good GP skins, both natural and dyed.

UG
Its still a lottery though.
The 3 natural i bought where all Venairds right enough. I was lucky though as i was in the shop when the order came in. I even opened the box. I still had 30 to look through of which i took 3. The only 3 of any real use.
We are constantly looking for GP Skins where ever we go and picking them up as/when we can.
Prices also vary considerably. I saw ones yesterday for 10 euros and to be honest the guy was taking the hand. If you get a good one i wouldnt pay anymore than £6 for a body skin. Average price is about £4.50 £5.
