Have had good success with these in the past couple of springs,when the river is carrying a bit of snow melt,also a great fly to try in the backend,when the fish have seen a lot of W/guns,Comets,Cascades ETC,works well also when their are a lot of leaves in the water.

Dressing;
Wing,Equal mix of white,blue and yellow buck tail.Blue ice angel hair over (10-12 Strands),3 strands blue mirror crystal flash.
body; large utc mirage tinsel.
Rib; utc metallic blue wire.
Blue j/c optional
Head;Black

Cracking looking flea Poshtosh and I have seen first hand just how good this fly can be early doors on the Dee when the conditions are as you described.

Love the Blue Jungle cock and the metallic blue wire giving it a real classy look!
