looks more bulky than it is but the profile is generally nice, albeit a little chubby A lighter wire hook would be more suited also. may not use the orange crystal flash at the head on the next one. cheers

Not a critisism but maybe ideas for improvement, great fly as is though. Aye the crystal flash might be better with a strand or two less at the head and under the last tippet instead of on top. To be pedantic the first turn of rib on the head part of the body looks a bit odd

In my very humble opinion it would look and fish better with half the material quantity, a bit heavily dressed for me.

cheers chaps for the advice, my get onto cracking another one off another day, but for a first ever general practitioner variant, i was quite impressed with myself haha.
may look better on a salar or low water hook?
