As above, which one would you use in preference?

I prefer TD shaped tube flies, not quite as heavily dressed as actual TD's more like standard hairwings or shrimps but on tubes with a wing and beard.
Never liked or caught much on quartered tube flees

i voted standard tubes .. as i use them most .but do like the temple dog style as well and use them when the condtions suit . imho if you got both in your box you will not go far wrong . but its how you fish them that makes the diffrence

the olds school tubes still take a lot of fish- for what its worth i layer the wing and dont quarter it.
there was a time when i thought the scandi style would make the old WG and B&Y obsolete. But too many serious fishers still use them to good effect.

I voted for quartered flies as they were nearest to what I have confidence in fishing - ie B&Y, GBWD and WG I do, however, think that TD's are here to stay and will be trying these in 2011 tb
