A fair bit of artistic licence with this one! Mar LodgeTube ~ Eumer plastic Tag ~ oval silver Butt ~ black u.v. straggle Tail ~ yellow fluo multi yarn Rear 3rd body ~ silver holo Rib ~ silver wire Veilings ~ red fluo multi yarn Body mid 3rd ~ black lite brite Body front 3rd ~ silver lite brite Rib ~ silver wire body hackle ~ black cock Wing ~ yellow then red AF, flash in between Hackle ~ black cock Wing ~ blue then banana fly AF with flash of choice between and over Cheeks ~ JC Hackle ~ Guinea fowl (or teal) Cone ~ eumer silver tungsten I must get a proper set up for photographic flies in the house. The flash tends to overexpose a lot of the colour close up, there is a lot more silver in the front body that it appears. There are no veilings in the original but the wee flash of fluorescent fairly stands out. Similar to some of the others I know but it passes a winter evening and they will make a good Christmas present for my brother. BnC

Nice flee
If it's a digital camera you should be able to switch off the flash

Nice fly BnC, really like the red veilings, adds a nice additional target point at the rear of the body.
