Here is a copy on a Tube of a Fly I saw Peter Anderson catch a big Kelt with on the Tweed in February. He was using it tied on a large Waddington The essentials of the pattern are A silver body (Holographic, Mylar tinsel etc as long as it is not obscured too much) Purple Hair Wing and some flash (Pearl or Silver is fine) JC wings Purple Collar Hackle If you wanted it tied on a Double or Treble Hook, then a longish Tail of Purple with some strands of flash would be OK, I guess, along with a wing of the same about half way along the tail. When I sit back and look at it, it really does look like a bit of a West Coast USA Steelhead type fly. Peter said it was a great favourite of a regular on the Spey who used it to great effect on that river. If I have misnamed the fly, please advise as I don't recollect Peter giving it a name. tweedbunnet
