Does any tie up the Comet on Copper Tubes/Doubles?

My older reference books suggest a rich Ruby Red colour of Bucktail and body floss/feather section is used. This seems to be pretty hard to obtain from suppliers

However, when I look at some commercial tyings for sale, they appear to be more of a Red shade. It may be the photography, of course.

Can anyone supply some authoritative guidance on this fly's dressing and components, pl.

As far as I recall the dressing in Davie's video is the correct one.

My faves are tied using a dark ruby red shade.
Also on smaller tubes a medium purple shade seems to do well on the Till

It is that dark ruby shade I am especially interested in.

Any ideas where you get this colour in Hair or Feather?
