This is a pattern from Chris Mann's book on hairwing and tube flies.

I assume by the name it is a scandinavian pattern.

I have changed the origonal rib from black floss to holographic black tinsel.

Dressing.

Hook Salar size 7
Thread Black.
Tag1 fine oval silver tinsel
Tail crimson red cock hackle fibres
Tag 2 brite red glo brite floss
Butt Black ostritch herl
Body Flat silver tinsel
Rib Fine holographic black tinsel
Wing Black silver fox (origonal had black squirell)
Flash Pearl mirror flash
Throat Black cock hackles
Cheeks Jungle cock
Head Black tying thread with clear varnish

Nice fly Dave, would work well for sea trout as well as salmon.
Like the green hue given off from the black Holo tinsel rib.

I like the black holo too, it gives the fly a wee sparkle without the need for a lot of flash in the wing.
