Been a few rods asking what these are, started a few ago as a tongue in cheek take of Gavin Browns Junction Shrimp ( Too long a story ) but anyway in coloured water they are the dog's bollocks, usually on a 2-3 inch light tube as I use them with a wet 4 when the river is big and very beery coloured. Have to say its the first time I've put a pic of any of my flees anywhere so hope they meet with your approval

Keep the tail back from the end of the tube so the liner doesn't help to flare it and spread it well round the tube, I just keep sort of squashing it on/down onto the tube, works for me anyway. Oh aye and try to use as fine a bucktail as you can get, one lad told me to wash them with hair conditioner before you use them.

The history of the flee is a bit of a long story best told with a dram in hand, so I'll tell you at the Lees next Spring Tony.

The name comes from the Temple pool at the Lees on Tweed which is a fantastic back end pool, nothing to do with Temple dog type flies. Just shows up so well in very beery water.
