im going to be tying some tubes over the coming months im looking for the heavy clear tubing which holds the hook any ideas where to get it

I assume you are talking about extension tubing for holding the hook.
Speak to doug at flymakers.
He has a great quality heavy duty 2mm extension tubing that is super strong, and crystal clear unlike some of the other ones on the market.
It is a very snug fit on slipstream tubes which is what you are after.
Very well priced too.
I don't think it's on his website but drop him an e-mail or a pm and he will sort you out.
