Playing about with a pattern I had "swimming" around in my head for a few weeks and here they are. Initial Thoughts please! Black Cuillin red Cuillin I like the potential for using UV krystal flash (in the tail) and UV straggle on the body and head. Even have the cheek to give them a name

Very good kf, the bottom one lookes a bit like the shadow shrimp. No doubt there will be a sameness on a few flies, but that red one has three materials in its tail - Artic fox, UV crystal and Tippets mixed in. The body has a silver tag, UV straggle mid body and UV straggle head. Will try them out on the Nith Saturday.

You will recall I was experimenting with that UV Straggle thread the other week. Look at the UV Glow of this fly after being in the water. I assume the salmon will see this even better?

Did you take any fish on them Kenny? No unfortunatley as the water was really high and got coloured. So it really didn't get a good innings, but I hope to give it a swim over the next few outings that I have left. Will post any success on here
