see cardronna is off to a flyer 5 today best 18lb well done to all on this beat. i have a question now, can anyone explain why cardronna get all these early fish yet better overall beats like fairnilee, traquair, upper caberston lower caberston etc seem to be thin on the ground not just this year but every year a couple of seasons ago cardronna had 17 in september yet all the above mentioned beats never had 17 if you add all their totals together??? why is this??? anyway the FASH are only 4 miles fae me now come on the rain

nice 18lber rest a wee bit dirty but really well done martin never doubted for a min the report just canny understand why only cardronna seem tae get fish early they must stop somewhere else between boleside where upper tweed fish tend to hold back waiting for water and cardronna you would think traquair would get it"s share and we on the crown water are only 4miles up river and we never see a fish before first flood of october what ever the reason i am for some of this next septembertroot rod going away and we are going tae get serious tightlines by the way when you comming tae fish crown water with me you have been threatening for some time now you feert
