Here's a couple I made tonight - something I have been promising to do for many years but somehow never seemed to settle down and do. Top fly is a Size 2/0 hook. I am sure the Classical "Specialists" will probably find many flaws in them but they really do give you a sense of satisfaction when you tie them. Believe me, you do learn an awful lot about proportions and the need to tie in at specific spoton the hook etc. Probably take me another few years before I take a brave pill and try to do a Mixed or Built Wing fly. tweedbunnet

They look pretty good to me TB Don't be scared of trying the married wings, they are actually easier to position on the hook than gp tippets on their sides. getting 2 identical married wings in the first place, now that's a different story
