As I am now learning to tie my own flies I thought I would put some of my newly purchased fur and feathers to some use and tied some flees for the (coloured) Nith tomorrow. I like the tails a bit thicker than normal, but all advice will be accepted in the manner it is given. Well hit me.

I just noticed these ones Kenny, they look good, nice and bright with plenty mobility.
I'm sure you'll get a few fish on them before the season ends.
can I ask are you doubling your hackles over?? tying them in by the tip or the base??
Dave.
