This morning Ive just stopped myself tying a fly up for my box which I promised myself I would tie! Now its been a few years since I last attempted to catch a Salmon on the fly and how thing have changed. when I last waved a dble about the buzz type line was the multi tip spey line, and I think the flamethrower had just been created or it was just after I decided to give it up. Now Ive tied up or Im just finnishing tying these flies. My Salmon fishing will be kicking of big style on the 19th sept when I head north to get another day on The Naver and hopefully a crack on the Thurso. Then after i return home Ill be focusing on the Annan. Next season Im hoping to add a few spring days perhaps Pert!!

I would not go without Size 8,10,12 Green Butt Stoats' Tail, Silver Stoats and 1-2" Gold Bodied Willie Gunn's Tubes (with a Red Head or Butt and JC)
For Spring, a Silver Bodied Black and Yellow/Chartreuse with JC on a Copper Tube (1-2") would be a must for me.

Interesting very interesting. Ive tied up my Mairi's shrimps yesterday, finnished my red Francis, added Silver Stoats and dee sheep to my box. Now Im thinking this morn about doing some Black shrimps using a dubbed body with the rear being yellow lite bright as i really like how it brings the Mairi's out.
