For those of you that use droppers, what knot do you use? Been having a bit of trouble with smashed takes Any advice ? NW.

For those of you that use droppers, what knot do you use? Been having a bit of trouble with smashed takes Any advice ? NW. Just use a normal 2 turn water knot, seems to work ok Aye, but you could tow a bus on the nylon you use

4 turn water knot or a double grinner

Water knot for me too.
Which stub do you tie the fly to? They say the stub pointing to the point fly is the stronger of the two but I've used both and never noticed a real difference (although the stub pointing to the rod tip presents the fly a little better).

the tag pointing to the fly is the one to use also if you make the leader tapered then the tag pointing to the fly will be the heavier breaking strain
