I can thourghly recommend the holding abilities of Vmc low water doubles, how do those salmon escape it wasn't going anywhere Just had a braw allys shrimp cut out my cheek at A&E, ill be using salars in the wind from now on with reports of them not holding fish as well

it was all going so well until the Tay wind followed me home and started blowing tonight. Great hold for a small hook

Thats why i carry a multi tool,braw pliers on it for such a job,save a trip and ye can carry on fishing:) nearly needed them once, but the cone rattling my nut first made sure the hook wasent involved had a golf ba for a couple o days though Ouch!!

I gave a few more casts then decided it wasn't going to be my night and headed home. Thankfully the good lady wasn't in or i'm sure she would have been happily at it with the pliers. I was told how to get a single out so snips and singles for the wind from now on. An extra half second drift would have put it in the bunnet after extensive testing on Saturday

Pricie as all heck on my side of the Pond ($1.85 EACH for the silver Salars) but never lost a fish .. save for the Blighter just broke me off. fae
