all,
I struggle a bit with tube flies I'm never quite sure how long to make the tail in relation to the tube size. So if I was tying a pot bellied pig in a 1" eumer crayfish tube how long should the tail be?
cheers
Matt

I would agree with around 1 1/2 to 2 times the length of the body.
For some reason though I don't pot bellies look right on anything bigger than 3/4 in tubes, or maybe it's just my tying ;D

I've seen some shop PBP tied on 11/2" tubes and they do look strange and toilet brush like.
