Some really good pics among them Colin.
Did you see any fish go up under the bridge at Blair?

Colin, that was some trip mate! You could have made a televison series from that well done and some very nice pictures there. Start a wee book with those pictures/stories and call it:
Around Scottish Salmon rivers By Colin Selstrom. ;D

Is that a lot of water these days on the Garry there Colin? I don't think so, maybe someone else who's up there more than I am can comment though. The bits that are really lacking any flow or it's pretty much non existent, are further up stream. The Ruan Ruarie beat which has it's upper limit at the bridge I'm stood on while taking the pics is an interesting beat. But you've got to be pretty fit to fish it and it would help if you have some rock climbing experience. ;D I like it though, although I've only fished it twice even though I grew up on it's banks for a fair bit of my childhood. I think you have to hit it right or at least it helps, and from what I hear if you do you can have a good time. The very top pic is looking upstream from the bridge. If you're ever in John Norris' and look above the till, there is a great big banner advertising barbour which has the same photo.

But I missed most of them either because I forgot or because I left my camera in the car. So there should have been loads more. wait until next years trip.
