Hahaha this has made me giigle. Classic We used to hammer the rainbows up the lochy, turn down the hill at the soldiers monument park down further and fish that bank. all the rainbows were good 3-4lb and bigger too. maybe 2004 a also remember there was aggro between the two farmers/fishin people whoever they were on the opposite banks a the loch? Is it the caledonian canal that is down on that corner of loch lochy? and am sure their is a man made sorts river which runs from the loch to the river too a maybe wrong? oops if a am

Used to fish 40 years ago at invergloy, mostly plus couple other bits, used to get good bags of up to 30 brownies from loch and the big burn through night brownies were mostly 10oz to the pound in weight 12 ft cast three fleas if dour tip wi maggots most nights not needed Got told guys used to get sea trout thats what we were looking for but never seen Then the rainbows started we stopped goin, couldnt get fishing for all the guys bait fishing but thats life,we liked to step and cast along the shoreline through the night covering the water Was up in Inverness on wed and decided to come back down that way its still a bonnie looking loch with many memories of happy fishin with my dad late 60's and early 70's
