As promised guys here are some of the photo's from the meet at Newtyle.

The raffle shortly before the ghillies cleaned us oot ;D











At this stage, I was on the boat with Martin getting ready for a bit of anchored fly fishing, We were directed to the screams coming form downstream, where we saw a fish being played.
" It's a Kelt was martin's expert response from the distance"

I reckoned it was a springer, so a small wager was taken, with the proceeds getting added to the money for Yorkhill.

Well what can I say, martin is a tenner lighter and yorkhill a tenner better off.

more to the point, Mows and his boy were delighted, and quite rightly so.

Some truly excellent pictures there Dave and some no bad casting as well.

Looks like a good day out was had and well done to all who participated in the event. Very worthwhile cause indeed.

For the record that was scannys dodgy running line that kept tangling up

That's the stuff, two day soaking softens it up so it's supple and just needs a light stretch before use, cheap and cheerfull in the right hands
