Hi When i started tying up adventurous tubes i bought Skandi tubing and tied on the larger diameter then merely used the smaller as liner tubing that held the cone head on. A bit wasteful so i then began searching for some tutor-age on line of how to tie using both tubes in conjunction however never came across many descriptive article and the few i did had small images. Once i was shown how to do it, as is the case with most techniques, it looked simple and i wondered why i hadn't picked it up by reading the articles. I am sure i am not the only person who has had this question and then tried to find out the technique. Here is an interesting step by step i recently photographed that shows this, in a clear and descriptive way and expertly tied by Mr Ian Taylor (Wee Frankie) - he's not half bad at setting up shooting heads either www.midclydeanglingassociation.org/pages/octoflytut.htmlI hope its of help to others, one of many excellent flies on there. Steve
