thats a chunk monkey looks well fed- what weigh was in it Ross it weighed 3lb 4oz ans was caught with a few minutes to go of a wee competition between Sean (OTD) that evening and the looks said it all, right Sean

Lovely looking trout. I thought I would throw in one I had in June. Not the biggest, but the limestone in some of these highland lochs gives the trout a cracking colour. The killing pattern was a goat's toe, the only fly that would produce on the day.

That was my thought as well and judging by the length of line lying on the ground, must taken that trout by complete surprise with the safe distance it thought it was from the banking ;D

My mate and I had and oar each to get to the other side of the loch, with a break half way across to get the batteries re-charged . The other fishers on the bank were giving raised eye brows as we passed them by. we had had a long winter in 2008

Could'nt resit it ;D Thought id weigh-in with this belter ;D ;D ;D captured in the west-end of Glasgow 08 after a few beers. Skippy ps Im a big fan of the troot fishing and all the above are absolute crackers. Attachments:
